Monitoring Agents
The Monitoring Agents view provides an overview of monitoring agents, and allows you to create, configure and group them.
Buttons at the top of the view allow you to perform common actions.

Add
Adding an agent into LoadTest Portal creates a controller for it and defines a ticket to use for configuration of the client connection to LoadTest Portal.
Add New Agent
Start in the Setup Menu view
Click Add New Agent
The Create New Agent dialog opens:
The ticket is generated automatically.
Enter a name for the agent
Enter (part of) the name of the desired group
Select group from the dropdown menu
Make note of the Ticket for configuration
Click Create
The agent is added to the list in the selected group(s).
Edit
You can modify the name and group for existing agents, or just open it to view the ticket or available counters.

The Create New Agent dialog opens:
The ticket and counters are not editable.
Enter a name for the agent
Enter (part of) the name of the desired group
Select group from the dropdown menu
Click Save

In order for Agent clients to be able to be used with LoadTest Portal, they need to be configured with the ticket generated when the agent is added.
View
The ticket neeeds to be added to the configuration file for the agent on the server where it is installed.
This is normally done when installing the agent, but can be done at any time.
Agents Search
The Search sections contain filters allowing you to choose which agents to display, and buttons control group display.

Group
Agent Groups are used to organize agents and display information about them. Any agent not in a specified group are automatically part of the Ungrouped group.

Add
You can create agent groups and simultaneously add agents to the group.
Add New Group
Start in the Setup Menu view
Click Add New Group
The Add Group dialog opens:
For a new group, you can set the name and add any existing agents to the group.
Enter a name for the group
If you are looking for ungrouped agents:
Check the Ungrouped agents
Enter (part of) the name of the desired agent
Mark the agents to include in the group
Click Create
The Group is added to the view, and the included agents shown.
Add Agents
Agents already in a group (it can be the Ungrouped group) can quickly be added to other groups.
Add Agents To Group
To add agents to groups:
Start with an existing group
Select the agents to add
Click Add Agents To Groups
Enter (part of) the name of the desired group
Select a group from the menu
The group is added to the list.
Click Add
The selected agent are added to the chosen groups.
Connect to Project
Connect to Project
Agent groups can be connected to project for administrative purposes.

Add Group To Project
To connect a group to a project:
Select the group you want to connect
Click Connect Group To Projects
The Connect To Projects dialog opens.
Enter (part of) the name of the desired project
Select the project from the dropdown menu
The agent or group is added to the Projects box.
Click Connect
The group is updated:
