ASM 13.19 Public Release Notes

User Story Enhancements

  • Customer Admins now have a manner of determining that a check did not run during its specified interval and the run was dropped in case of technical issues. If this setting is enabled and a check encounters issues with the actual check run, Customer Admins will see a message in place of a run result indicating they should contact Apica Support for assistance with resolving the issue.

  • It is possible for Apica Support to configure the ASM UI to allow Request Timeouts of greater than 2 minutes:

If you would like this feature enabled for your account, contact Support or your TAM.

Tasks

  • The API endpoint which was used to render the Check Results graph view has been changed to a new endpoint to improve performance.

  • The “Download Script Extension” button on the Manage Scenarios page referred to a deprecated plugin with very limited use and was removed:

Bugs

  • Fixed an issue in which very large numbers of checks (~>5000) were not loading successfully within Operations View

  • Fixed an incorrect error message which occurred when users attempted to compile a ZebraTester check which was missing details. The incorrect error message was “Scenario data is missing, re-uploading is required”. The correct error message is “Scenario details is missing, class wasn’t compiled”.

  • Fixed an issue in which users were sometimes unable to see two weeks of check results in the Check Results view.

  • Fixed an issue in which clicking the “Edit Scenario” button on a .class file within a ZebraTester check gave a 500 error under certain conditions.

  • Fixed an issue in which the “Enable Failover” checkbox was visible for a check which utilized the new Next Generation locations, which have failover enabled by default.

  • Fixed an issue in which the user was presented with a 500 error code within “Maintenance Tasks” under certain conditions.

  • Fixed an issue in which a certain API endpoint was returned a 500 error code, which led to users being unable to create SLA graphed summary reports within ASM.
